Description

The recommended application methods utilized to successfully install Pecora Deck HB1000, a two-part polyurethane traffic coating, will be demonstrated.  Demonstration and discussion will include primers, waterproofing base coats, and high-build, UV resistant topcoat. 

Objectives:

  1. Communicate proper surface preparation guidelines for concrete and plywood substrates
  2. Discuss when traffic coating primers are necessary and standard application methods 
  3. Review base coat options for when waterproofing capabilities are required
  4. Discuss application and coverage rate options and how to determine the appropriate system

He specializes in waterproofing product selection and commercial application of joint sealants, deck coating and air barriers. Michael has extensive experience in the laboratory validation of waterproofing products through the administration of ASTM, Federal and UL test methods accepted by the commercial construction industry. He frequently travels throughout the country to assess and resolve product performance issues, perform ASTM certified field tests, and conduct classroom training sessions including hands-on product demonstrations for contractors, distributors and construction professionals.
