Description

As long as there is concrete there will be concrete cracks. There is no shortage of repair methods for cracked concrete but the challenge is to find the right one that meets your specific needs. This product demonstration will cover polyurethane injection for leak mitigation. The area of focus will be understanding why concrete cracks, when to use polyurethane or epoxy injection, safety and equipment required for injection work, and lastly, the injection process itself.

Prior to joining the Alchemy-Spetec team, Charlie Lerman was with the Navy in the submarine and recruiting services. He has 20 years of construction experience and was with a restoration contractor for five of the twenty years. He earned his bachelor's degree in Business Management during that time. Charlie has been providing technical support and training for polyurethane grouts for over fifteen years and has been involved with the International Concrete Repair Institute (ICRI).  Currently, Charlie is the Director of Technical Services at Alchemy-Spetec. He has been involved in a wide variety of grouting jobs from dams to tunneling, municipal to sewer system work, residential, commercial, and industrial.
