Peter Craig, FICRI, FACI, CCSMTT is an independent concrete floor consultant with Concrete Constructives located in Greene, Maine and has over 47 years of experience with the design, construction, repair and protection of concrete floor slabs. He is best known for his expertise in the area of moisture-related flooring and coating problems and has been involved with over 400 such projects nationwide. Peter served as national president of ICRI in 1996 and is currently sub-committee chair and lead instructor for the ICRI Concrete Slab Moisture Testing certification program. He is an active member of ICRI, ASTM and ACI where he currently serves as sub-committee chair of ACI 302.2R, Guide for Concrete Slabs that Receive Moisture-Sensitive Flooring Materials. Peter is a Fellow of both ICRI and ACI, and in 2012 was voted as one of the 5 most influential people in the concrete industry by Concrete Construction Magazine.

Scott Tarr, PE, FACI, CCSMTT is a Consulting Engineer and President of North S.Tarr Concrete Consulting, P.C. based out of Dover, NH. He is a licensed engineer with nearly 30 years of experience in concrete floor slab design and floor covering issues. Scott has authored numerous articles and documents including the book Concrete Floors on Ground for the Portland Cement Association (PCA) and has written a new book Guide to the Design and Construction of Concrete Toppings for Buildings for the American Society of Concrete Contractors (ASCC) to be published soon.  He is the current chair of ACI 360 Design of Concrete Slabs on Ground and serves on ACI 301 Specifications for Structural Concrete and ACI 302 Concrete Floor and Slab Construction among other committees.  In addition to ACI, Scott is an active member of ASCC, ICRI, ASCE, ASTM, and ACPA. He holds a Master of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of New Hampshire, specializing in Pavements and Constructed Systems. Scott was also recognized by Concrete Construction magazine as one of the Industry’s Most Influential People in 2020.

David Paal, CCSMTT, CCHSFI, CWFI is the Owner of Premier Flooring Services LLC, a Gainesville, GA based consulting and training firm that also provides inspection and moisture testing assessments of commercial and residential flooring sites. He is a 34-year flooring veteran who has worked within all levels and categories of the flooring industry. David understands the built environment and how it is affected by moisture, and how it needs to be managed when flooring, finishes, and coatings are going to be installed. He is an ICRI Certified Concrete Slab Moisture Testing Technician (CCSMTT), is an active voting member of the ASTM F06 Committee, is an accredited LEED AP BD+C, holds numerous flooring inspection certifications, and is active in multiple flooring organizations.

Adam Bakeman, CCSMTT, CCSRT, CIP Level 2 is a Project Manager with American Engineering Testing in St. Paul, MN, where he has been a part of the Building Technologies Group for the past 12 years. Adam is a graduate of the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities and has a Degree in Construction Management. Adam is involved with and is the past president of the ICRI Minnesota Chapter and is a member of the ICRI Certification Committee. He is currently the technical contact for both ASTM F 2170 – Standard Test Method for Determining Relative Humidity in Concrete Floor Slabs and ASTM F1869 – Standard Test Method for Measuring Moisture Vapor Emission Rate of Concrete. In addition to being the technical contact for these standards, he has been and continues to be involved with developing and hosting research projects to continue to refine these standards. Adam has years of experience working across the country, gathering information to more fully understand the root cause of issues to improve failure analysis and create more long-term solutions. He is also an ICRI Certified Concrete Slab Moisture Testing Technician, an ICRI Certified Concrete Surface Repair Technician, and Certified NACE Coating Inspector Level 2.
