This demonstration will show FastPatch DPR, an easy to install, long-lasting repair material for distressed pavement that can be applied in warm or cooler climates. It can be used with FastPatch Kicker (accelerator) to form a fast-curing permanent repair that is ready for traffic in a short period of time. DPR has excellent adhesion, absorbs impact and is freeze-thaw resistant. It can easily create smooth transitions and ultra-tough level surfaces. Its minimal site preparation and fast cure times reduce traffic interruptions. The product is completely odorless making it also suitable for indoor applications.
Demonstration will show Schönox AP Rapid Plus poured over Schönox Renotex® 3D Glass Fiber Reinforcement fabric that makes up our Renotex® 3D Renovation System. It is designed to create a new substrate for subsequent floor covering installation. Schönox AP Rapid Plus is a pumpable self-leveling compound designed for deep pour, fast-track installations on most substrates in interior areas. It is built with Hybrid Active-Dry Technology, which means that ambient air temperature and humidity have no effect on curing times. This technology is the culmination of Schönox’s extensive research in this area to develop products with fast strength and drying characteristics with minimal shrinkage or expansion. Combined, the Schönox Renotex® 3D System is strong, versatile, and durable.
Demonstration will show the use of an anti-washout additive for use in cementitious repair systems. The demonstration will show systems with and without the additive to exhibit the system’s function in water. The additive holds the mortar together to reduce loss of paste material into the surrounding water. This reduces water contamination and improves the performance of the hardened state concrete.

Vertical/overhead repair mortars are traditionally hand- or spray-applied. Small repairs are suitable for hand application; whereas, low pressure spray equipment is useful for large projects. Mortar guns are commonly used for tuckpointing applications using site-mixed, masonry mortar. As most vertical/overhead concrete repair materials exhibit a stiff consistency, such mortar guns have not been widely implemented in concrete repair applications. With its unique, thixotropic rheology, MasterEmaco N 425 is well suited for use with such equipment. This demonstration presents the ease of application of MasterEmaco N 425 using a Quikpoint 3000 mortar gun.

The demonstration will cover the basic steps, products, and processes involved with dying and polishing concrete. The equipment, tooling, chemicals, and processes used to achieve a polished floor will be demonstrated.
This demonstration will introduce the WJE CASLE™ (Corrosion Assessment Service Life Evaluation) software for predicting corrosion-related damage in reinforced concrete structures. This tool helps engineers more effectively quantify remaining service life and guide repair decisions for existing structures, as well as evaluate protection/durability design strategies for new structures. Developed in-house by WJE’s materials engineers for WJE structural assessment projects, WJE CASLE™ offers full control of the evaluation process and facilitates a customizable approach to construction parameters and exposure conditions unique to each project. Advantages of the software include consideration of site-specific conditions such as construction geometry, sealers, coatings, corrosion-resistant reinforcing, presence/installation of overlays, existing chloride profiles, concrete cracking, and two-sided exposure. Model features will be outlined with a focus on evaluation of existing structures.
The demonstration will show the application of the Black Pearl® Waterproofing System. Unlike “weatherproofing”, a true waterproofing membrane will maintain its watertight integrity and prevent the passage of liquid under dynamic, static, continuous, or intermittent hydrostatic pressure. Black Pearl® is a true waterproofing membrane composed of two primary products: Black Pearl® Primer Adhesive and Black Pearl® Waterproofing Membrane. These components are based upon the same core formula of select, unoxidized asphalt cement base, butyl rubber, SIS, neoprene rubber, SBS, carbon black, fillers, plasticizers and curing agents. The Black Pearl® Primer Adhesive also has an aliphatic solvent that is within acceptable OSHA and EPA current regulations. Black Pearl® Waterproofing Membrane is a 55-mil woven polyester fabric impregnated with the Black Pearl® rubberized formula, providing extra tensile strength and stability.
