Alfred Gardiner is a Principal Engineer at Braun Intertec. He oversees forensics on concrete failures, development of new products and conducts trouble shooting on construction projects. Previously he has worked in the cement industry as a Technical Service Engineer for Holcim (US). He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering from University of Ottawa. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Minnesota, Iowa, Michigan, North Dakota, Florida, Illinois, Wisconsin and Ohio. He is the past chair of ACI Committee 221 – Aggregates. He is also a member of ASTM committee CO9.
