This demonstration shows Sika's new one coat traffic coating systems. Sikalastic®-720 One Shot is a two-component, integral texture, fast-curing, aliphatic, elastomeric polyurethane waterproofing coating intended for vehicular and pedestrian traffic. Applied in a single step, Sikalastic®-720 One Shot replaces the need for a base coat and multiple topcoats. Sikalastic®-726 Balcony One Shot is a two-component, aliphatic, elastomeric polyurethane traffic coating system that has both superior flexibility and abrasion resistance. Easily applied in a single coat, with or without primer, and designed for pedestrian traffic, specifically balcony and pedestrian applications.
Demonstration will show the use of an anti-washout additive for use in cementitious repair systems. The demonstration will show systems with and without the additive to exhibit the system’s function in water. The additive holds the mortar together to reduce loss of paste material into the surrounding water. This reduces water contamination and improves the performance of the hardened state concrete.

Shotcrete has been used widely for rehabilitation and retrofit of concrete structures. More and more large infrastructures, in particular, in the hydro power industry, is using shotcrete for major rehabilitation and retrofit. Recently, the US Army Corps of Engineers has been engaged in structural modifications to reinforced concrete draft tube exits from the turbines in the Ice Harbor Lock and Dam located on the Snake River, Washington. This presentation details the structural modification to the draft tube which was successfully completed using wet-mix shotcrete.
