The demonstration will show methodologies employed in horizontal, vertical, overhead and structural repairs using MG-Krete. Participants will learn the chemistry behind the product and the reason why it is a successful permanent repair material. There will be a full technical review of the product benefits.

This product demonstration will cover polyurethane injection for leak mitigation. The area of focus will be understanding why concrete cracks, when to use polyurethane or epoxy injection, safety and equipment required for injection work, and lastly, the injection process itself.
Moisture accumulation and water leakage into retail, commercial, and residential habitable spaces, including industrial facilities and below-grade parking structures, is the number one construction defect claim in our industry. The entire building envelope is a moisture barrier. Below-grade moisture barriers are required to keep water from leaking “into” and/or “out from” the structure. Water leakage inflow or outflow, and moisture accumulation within, can lead to health, safety and environmental issues involving the cost of operations and facility maintenance. Active water leakage, intermittent wetness, cavity wall moisture accumulation, and vapor transmission, can lead to costly problems: mold and mildew development, corrosion, contaminated water clean-up and disposal, slippery surfaces, and property damage.
Selection of the most appropriate, professional tools for the setting of foam backer rod at the correct, consistent depth, without puncturing the skin, is the first step in creating a sealant joint that is long lasting and meets sealant manufacturer specifications. Next is the selection of the optimal sealant dispenser and nozzle. The size and orientation of the joint and the viscosity of the specified sealant will guide an installer to the most efficient drive, material containment unit (MCU) and nozzle for the application. Lastly, the selection of the most appropriate caulk finishing spatula and the technique employed are critical for the sealant to adhere and perform to specification.
Phoscrete is an easy-to-use, fast-setting, long-lasting Magnesium-Alumina-Liquid-Phosphate (MALP) concrete repair material for repairs in extreme environments (-15°F to +115°F). Instead of water, Phoscrete’s pre-extended dry component mixes include Liquid Phosphate Activator (Freezing Point = -20°F). Working time and set time are easily controlled by supercooling the activator in hot temperatures, and by adding fast-set admixtures in cold temperatures.
